Hi to all Singapore Musicians!
Hope you are still doing great and inspiring through your music! It has been my honour after our very first meetup to personally come into contact with some groups and went on further to know you better. My sincere apologies for the absence of last month's meetup due to heavy workload schedules.
As promise, we will bring on a greater meaning to our very next meetup session (20th May'09, Wednesday, 7pm)!
We are holding the meetup networking session for musicians this time round with the following agenda:
1.) A 5-minute brief and introduction of ourselves. There will be a "Fast Pass" to all that are present on that day for some of the selected major projects. They include a search for a Theme Song (a National Youth Council project) that will have your original song featured on 100 MediaCorp TV ads, etc.
2.)An all round networking session to get to know one another better and personal. You will be able to tap onto each other talents and work on collaborations with the projects that we will be presenting to you on that day.
3.) While the networking session is on interacting with one another, you will be given the opportunity to showcase your talent! There should be available keyboard and guitars at this music school for use (they will give me the approval [or not] soon this week). If you have personal guitar/keyboard sets which you would like to bring to perform, you are most welcome to! (p.s. Pls advice us kindly in advance too..thanks!)
4.) Concurrently, we will be having our face-to-face meetup session with all who has Home Recording facilities. At the moment, there are already close to 20 who have contacted us. Should you have Home Recording facilities, please approach us on that day too.
Due to space constraints, this meetup session is based on a first-come-first serve basis. There are limited availability. And yes, this is free.
