Eugene Pao is Hong Kong's most recognised jazz musician and arguably the top jazz guitarist in Asia. He made his first of a number of solo albums in 1996 called "By The Company You Keep" with a stellar cast which included Jack DeJonette, John Pattitucci and Michael Brecker. Over the years, Eugene has performed with other jazz greats such as Chick Corea, Herbie Hancock, James Moody, Michael Brecker, Bobby McFerrin, Ernie Watts, Jimmy Witherspoon and many more.

He never fails to impress with his ability to play lighting fast bebop licks, burning jazz rock solos through the most sensitive of nuances. Eugene is also a consumate composer.

For his upcoming gigs at Jazz@Southbridge, Eugene will be performing in Organ trio formation and he has enlisted the services of his old friend and colleague Jeremy Monteiro.

Jeremy is a trained Hammond Organ teacher and has recently begun playing in organ trio format more frequently, besides his work on his first instrument which is the piano. Jeremy has played around the world to critical acclaim. He has more than 25 albums to his credit and has performed with James Moody, Toots Thielemans, Ernie Watts, Randy Brecker, Michael Brecker and Bobby McFerrin, to name a few.

On drums is one of the most exciting drummers to emerge in the South-East Asian jazz scene in recent years, Chanutr Techatana-nan. Hong, as his friends call him, is considered one of Thailand’s leading jazz drummers.
