Here's a charity music concert for the people suffering in Pakistan. If u want to play a part to help these poor people, do buy the tickets and at the same time, u can show local indie bands performances. Below are the information (Credits goes to Jon from Facebook):
WHY THIS CONCERT?Mercy Relief is responding to international appeals to provide humanitarian relief in the Northwest Frontier Province (NWFP), Pakistan. The aggravating humanitarian crisis in NWFP has been caused by the influx of civilians fleeing from intensifying confrontations in the Swat Valley. To date, a total of 2.38 million people have been displaced; the United Nations estimated nearly half of them are women, with another 20% being children under the age of five. Cafe Diplo is organising this emergency fundraising concert in support of Mercy Relief's work in Pakistan.
WHO'S PERFORMING?
The concert will feature local indie bands:
1) Ark Analogy
2) King Kong Jane
3) Kevin Mathews & The Groovy People.
